All prices are payable in UAE Dirhams and all major credit cards are accepted.
VAT will be charged on all services and rates.

Pre Authorization Procedure

Daily, Weekly & Monthly Rentals

A preauthorization of minimum AED 1500 will be obtained on a valid credit card for the insurance excess, depending on the type of the car as security deposit. For all monthly rentals payment are to be made in advance.

Delivery & Collections Charges

Within City Limits: Upto AED 100 per pick up or drop off
Inter Emirates : Upto AED 600 per pick up or drop off

Drop Off Charges (AUH)

Airport Location: Vehicles rented from Ruwais or Al Ain locations and returned to Abu Dhabi Airport and vice-a-versa are subject to a AED 150 drop off charge in additional to the Airport fee of AED 25.
Non Airport Locations: Vehicles rented from Ruwais or Al Ain locations and returned to any of our locations in Abu Dhabi and vice-a-versa are subject to AED 150 drop off charge.
DXB Locations: Vehicles rented from Abu Dhabi, Al Ain or Ruwais locations returned to any locations in Dubai or Northern Emirates are subject to AED 600 (temporary) drop off charge.

Toll Fee (Salik)

Toll gate crossing will be charged at Actual plus 25% admin fee applicable.
In Abu Dhabi, toll fees are applicable on all toll crossings only during the following peak hours:

7;00 am - 9:00 am
5:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Traffic Fines

Any traffic fine incurred by the hirer is their liability and is charged at actual price + administration fee + VAT.

Airport Fee

The following fees are applicable for any pickup and drop off at the airport locations.

Dubai International Airport - Terminal 1 - AED 50.00
Dubai International Airport - Terminal 3 - AED 50.00
Dubai World Central Airport – AED 50.00
Sharjah International Airport - AED 25.00
Abu Dhabi International Airport - AED 25.00

Additional Driver

A second driver may be added at an extra cost. In addition to the main hirer’s documents, they shall also provide the passport copy and driving license of the second driver.

VRF - Vehicle Registration Fee:

VRF charges apply for all rentals and are as follows:

Daily Rental : Dhs.5.00 per day,
Weekly Rental: Dhs.30.00 per week and
Monthly Rental: Dhs. 75.00 per month

One Way Rental Fee:

In case the rented vehicle is returned to any progress cars location other than the rental pick up location, the following one-way rental charges will apply upon returning the car at the counter.

Required Documents

U.A.E Residents:

UAE Driving License
Passport with Residence visa, or Emirates ID
Credit Card (Valid for the next 3 months minimum)

Please note that driving without a Valid UAE Driving License when on residence visa is a violation of the LAW

Non–UAE Residents:

International Driving Permit, GCC Driving License, or driving license from their country of origin where applicable
Passport with the Visa entry stamp
Credit Card (Valid for the next 3 months minimum)
Please note that in case your visit or tourist visa in UAE is changed to Residence visa , you need to obtain an UAE driving license and the same with a copy of your passport with residence visa page has to be submitted to progress cars Immediately.
Tourists from all GCC Countries (excluding Qatar) & countries listed below are permitted to drive with their respective local driving license.

International or National Driving license in any other language other than Arabic and English should be translated into Arabic or English. The translation should be attested by the Embassy.

Insurance & Protection:

PERSONAL ACCIDENT INSURANCE (PAI)

To add more security to your driving, we also offer Personal Accident Insurance which can be purchased at an additional cost that covers the driver and the passengers.Purchase of PAI provides for compensation to the occupants in the unfortunate event of any physical injuries or death but does not include hospitalizations.
ADDITIONAL INSURANCE / PROTECTION OPTIONS
The hirer may purchase additional vehicle insurance for their rental to reduce their financial liability for damage to the progress cars vehicle, its parts and accessories, provided the vehicle is used in accordance with the terms and conditions of the hire agreement.

INSURANCE EXCESS

In the event of an accident involving the rented vehicle that results to vehicle damage, the payable insurance excess is based on the result of the police report and type of additional vehicle insurance availed by the hirer at the time of booking or hiring the vehicle.

Please note the UAE Driving License should be atleast 12 months old to avail the CDW or SCDW.
Also, for all the above cases , a police report is mandatory & Loss or damage to personal belongings or luggage is not insured.

Driving Restrictions

The hirer is prohibited to use the vehicle under below conditions and activities:

When the hirer is under the influence of alcohol/drugs
Racing, towing other vehicles, or off-road driving
Any other activity considered against the UAE law

The vehicle insurance does not cover any accident/damage resulting from any of the above scenarios. Any such violation would make the hirer liable to pay for the total damages to the vehicle and/or any ancillary damages caused.

Age Restrictions

Minimum 21 years old

Maximum 70 years old

Vehicle Impounding

If the vehicle is impounded, the customer is liable to compensate progress cars for both the impounding fee and loss of rental.

Value Added Services

Child Seats

Child Seats for age bracket 1 to 4 year old are available on request and is subject to availability only. We recommend that the child seats are pre-booked to ensure availability.

Daily Rental : Dhs.35.00 per day,
Weekly Rental: Dhs. 175.00 per week and
Monthly Rental: Dhs. 500.00 per month

GPS

We recommend that the GPS is pre-booked to ensure availability. progress cars Car Rental is not liable for any errors, inaccuracy, omission, or for any loss or damage suffered by users arising from the usage of any of the information published on any pages /maps on the Garmin GPS.

Incase of loss of the rented unit or damage to the unit, all the charges as determined by progress cars is payable by the hirer.

Daily Rental : Dhs.40.00 per day,
Weekly Rental: Dhs. 185.00 per week and
Monthly Rental: Dhs. 500.00 per month

General Guidelines

Geographical Limits

The vehicles may be driven only within the geographical boundaries of UAE, with the exception of Oman. Travel to Oman may be permitted subject to pre-approvals and applicable fees (see “Oman Insurance” under Value Added Services).

Unlimited Mileage is offered on daily & weekly rentals for all the vehicles except the ones listed below.

This restriction is applicable for vehicles rented from Abu Dhabi / Ruwais & Al Ain locations.
